What Is A Fanedit?

Like many young people, fanfiction was an important part of my upbringing. It was a way to continue a story that I wasn't ready to end, or to experience brand-new characters in a familiar world.

Unfortunately, a lot of fanfiction kind of sucks.

Fanedits are a way to take some of that bad fanfiction and turn it into something a bit more tolerable. Not every issue can be fixed, but I can at least clean it up as much as I can.

For fanfiction posted on this site, I'll do spelling and grammar fixes, make stylistic changes that I believe improve the quality of the story, and provide a running commentary of my complaints with the fic and challenges I faced while editing it.

If you notice any errors that I missed (or even ones I've introduced), you are free to mock me mercilessly for it.

This is not meant to be a personal attack against any of the authors featured, and I highly recommend you check out their work and provide them with your support. With that said, I am a dick and will comment as such.
